Whenever international stars visit Malaysia, they often visit our many iconic landmarks, like the Petronas Twin Towers. While in Kuala Lumpur for his recent concert, Japanese singer Fujii Kaze (藤井風) made a pitstop at Batu Caves and took to Instagram to share some photos.
The 27-year-old recently performed at Axiata Arena as part of his “Best Of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 Asia Tour”. After a successful show, Fujii Kaze took to Instagram to share his gratitude to his Malaysian fans by presenting photos of him at Batu Caves. The singer captioned his post, “Malaysia, I feel you in my heart”, showing his fondness for his local fans and the country.

The photos showed the “Shinunoga E-Wa” vocalist at the temple, dressed comfortably in baggy pants, a white tank top and a beige shirt combo. Fujii Kaze was posing inside the temple and in front of the golden statue of the Hindu god Murugan. In a few photos, fans were also treated to his warm and friendly side when he interacted with a young child in the temple.
Many Kazetarians (Fujii Kaze) fans have since shared their reactions to the photos, praising the singer-songwriter for respecting the cultures and people of the countries he visits. Many Malaysian fans also thanked him for showing the local culture to his international fans. Some of his fans also said the photos inspired them to want to visit Batu Caves the next time they’re in the area.

It’s also worth mentioning that Fujii Kaze is known to be very spiritual, so perhaps his visit to Batu Caves was also very enlightening. Regardless, we hope he had a great time playing tourist in Malaysia, and we hope to see him return in the future.
