Many local music fans had a very productive weekend attending the Dua Lipa concert at the Axiata Arena. Judging by the videos and photos shared by fans on social media, the two-day show was nothing short of amazing. After a fun and tiring performance, the Albanian artist decided to treat herself by exploring Kuala Lumpur.
It’s always exciting to find out what our favourite artists get up to after performing on stage. As some of you may know, the 29-year-old has performed in Malaysia before and has even named KL as one of her favourite places to visit. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she embraced her inner tourist while still in town. Here’s what she did:

Yesterday (Monday, 25th November), Dua Lipa posted a carousel of photos and videos on her Instagram showing her time in Malaysia. “Thank you, KL!!! ❣️ Two very sweaty nights in your city!!!”, she wrote in her caption. The post not only featured her performing on stage at the arena over the weekend but also showed her visiting the iconic Batu Caves.
The “Houdini” songstress shared photos of the colourful temples at the popular location, as well as the monkeys she encountered there. Unfortunately, that’s all she shared on Instagram, and there’s no information yet on whether she visited other spots in KL—possibly to keep a low profile while out in public. However, she did make a surprise appearance in another person’s IG post. A fan was visiting Batu Caves as well and only realised that Dua and her boyfriend actor Callum Turner photobombed her from behind after the photos were taken.
“STILL ON CLOUD NINE, REALLY CAN’T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED! 😱😱😱 💫💫💫 Jet-setted to Malaysia for The Radical Optimism ✈️🎶 and guess who decided to photobomb me?! 😱 DUA LIPA HERSELF & CALLUM TURNER! 🎤🔥 What are the odds?!?” the fan wrote in her post.

According to the singer’s “Radical Optimism” tour schedule, she is due to perform in Thailand tomorrow (Wednesday, 27th November), so it’s very likely she’s already making her way there. However, she did post a few more photos of Batu Caves, as well as the places she visited in Taiwan last week, so there’s a chance she might share more from her recent visit to KL. We’d personally love to see what she’s been up to here. Maybe she’ll even post a Reel or a travel vlog on her YouTube channel.
Did any of you see Dua Lipa anywhere around KL?
