Since his discharge from mandatory military service, BTS (방탄소년단) member Suga (슈가) has kept a low profile, rarely posting anything on social media. However, he recently broke his silence with a set of photos, sending a frenzy among fans.
On 22nd September 2025 (Monday), Suga shared a set of photos on his personal Instagram account, @/agustd. The photoset includes pictures of the rapper’s silhouette on a wall and of him playing the guitar in what appeared to be an empty warehouse. The only other thing present in the photos was random supplies on the floor. The post was also uncaptioned.

The post was especially noteworthy as it marked Suga’s first post since August 2023. His last post was a collaboration post with the NBA, advertising the SUGAxNBA capsule collection. It’s also his first post since getting discharged from his military service in June 2025. Since then, the idol’s only social media appearances were in livestreams with his fellow BTS members or through the rest of BTS’s social media postings.
Given the lack of updates from the “Daechwita” rapper, it’s no surprise that fans were ecstatic about the sudden posting. Many cheered over Suga’s return to social media, noting that they’ve missed seeing him online. Many also discussed the photoset, wondering if it’s a teaser for an upcoming project. However, it’s unknown when the pictures were taken or what for, as the post had no captions.

Meanwhile, Suga and the rest of BTS are busy working on their highly anticipated comeback album. The seven-membered group recently spent time in Los Angeles, California, to work on the release, which is scheduled for Spring 2026. The new album will be their first group release since their 2022 anthology project, “Proof”, and their first since concluding their military hiatus. The group will also embark on a new tour once the album is out.
Regardless of what his post was alluding to, we’re sure ARMYs are just happy that Suga is active on social media again. Let’s hope the star will share more posts in the days to come. See the full post below:
