(Photos) All The New Surprising Cameos In The Latest Season Of “The Bear”

The ultra-popular American dramedy “The Bear” has released its third season – and we finally get to see more of Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and the rest of the “Bearitos”. However, some fans are instead more excited to finally see all the cameos.

From the get-go, the show is no stranger to inviting some famous faces, so it’s safe to say that fans were eager to see who will make guest appearances in this new season. So, if you’re one of the many curious, here are all the (new) guest stars in The Bear Season 3 – but be warned that the list ahead contains spoilers, so read at your own risk:

Josh Harnett (Episode 4: Violet)

SOURCE: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

“Pearl Harbour” star Josh Harnett was the first celebrity guest star in the new season, playing Frank, the new fiance of Richie’s (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) ex-wife Tiffany. In the episode, Frank tries to strike up a conversation with Richie when the latter drops his daughter off at Tiffany’s. However, the two are understandably still awkward with each other.

John Cena (Episode 5: Children)

SOURCE: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

Wrestler-turned-actor John Cena steals the show as Sammy Fak, the intimidating brother of Neil (Matty Matheson) and Ted (Ricky Staffieri). Sammy first appears at the Bear to help out with odd construction jobs around the restaurant, including buffing out the floors before it gets photographed by the Chicago Tribune.

David Zayas (Episode 6: Napkins)

SOURCE: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

Puerto Rican actor and “Dexter” alum David Zayas also joined the cast this season – but his cameo seemed more than just a surprise appearance because it’s a case of art imitating life. Not only does he share the same name as his character (David), but he also shares the role of playing the loving husband of Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas), who he’s been married to in real life since 1998!

Brian Koppelman (Episode 5: Children & Episode 9: Apologies)

Brian Koppelman may not have a famous face – but he does have a famous name. The writer behind hit shows and films like “Billions” and “Ocean’s Thirteen” plays Nicholas “The Computer” Marshall, the family friend of Uncle Jimmy (Oliver Platt). It’s unlikely that many would recognise the man who comes in to help cut the restaurant’s rising costs – so if you thought it was just another random actor, now you know.

Of course, a show about chefs and restaurants should also feature some real-life chefs and their real-life restaurants. The first two chefs who appeared in this season of “The Bear” – albeit in flashbacks – were Daniel Boulud and René Redzepi, who both showed up in Episode 1: Tomorrow. Chef Thomas Keller and his famed restaurant French Laundry also appeared in the series finale, Episode 10: Forever. In the same episode, other notable chefs made cameos, including Milkbar’s Christina Tosi, Alinea’s Grant Achatz and Noma’s Malcolm Livingston II.

The third season also saw the return of a few other characters, including Jamie Lee Curtis as Donna Berzatto, Olivia Colman as Andrea Terry and Will Poulter as Luca. The third season has already received critical acclaim, and the team behind the show has announced that the fourth season is already in the plans. What are your thoughts on “The Bear” and its latest season?
