South Korean actor Park Bogum (박보검) is beloved for many reasons. Besides his kindness and dedication to his work, the star is now receiving praise for one specific detail of his upcoming fansign event.
Park Bogum’s agency, THEBLACKLABEL, recently announced details for his season’s greetings 2026 fansign events. Like many other fansign events, fans need to purchase his season’s greetings for a chance to enter the raffle. The session of the event will randomly pick a specific number of fans to meet Park Bogum, either in person or online, and receive his autograph.

However, one particular detail about the events stood out to the public. According to the official notices, each applicant is limited to purchasing a maximum of three sets for each session. Many argued that the actor and his agency implemented the rule to prevent album bulk buying, a common practice at K-pop fansign events, because it can increase the fans’ chances at winning.
It’s also worth noting that many K-pop companies prioritise sales, so fansign events rarely come with purchase limits. As such, fans praised Park Bogum and THEBLACKLABEL for implementing the system. Besides providing a fair chance for fans to attend the event, many added that it can avoid extreme bulk purchases and curb overconsumption and wastage. Understandably, the purchase limit also sparks debate on other K-pop groups’ fansign events.

Many netizens encourage other agencies to apply the same system, arguing that it’s more fair for fans. Some also said that the limit purchase rule can help deal with the waste issue that many K-pop fans face after bulk buying albums. Wastage is also an issue that many netizens have criticised, as the unused albums are often disposed of incorrectly. However, some noted that K-pop companies are unlikely to implement the same system.
Nevertheless, fans are still gushing about how Park Bogum took the risk to apply this rule to all his fansign events, with many saying he truly cares for the fans. What are your thoughts on this?
