Rowden Co Pangcoga and Leizl were supposed to get married on Rowden’s 30th birthday on 8th July. Together with their adorable 2-year-old daughter, they already had a perfect family. However, in May, in a cruel twist of fate, Rowden was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. Having accepted his fate, he made a final request – to marry the love of his life, Leizl.
His brother, Hasset Go, helped make it happen. Because Rowden couldn’t leave the hospital let alone walk down the aisle, they decided to bring the church, their families, and friends to the hospital. After 12 hours of preparations, the wedding ceremony in the hospital happened. Leizl arrived in a wedding dress and exchanged vows with Rowden while he was in bed.

On 11th June, only 10 hours after the wedding, Rowden passed away at the age of 29. His brother thanked the Philippine General Hospital in Manila for attending to his brother’s needs for two weeks and for cooperating in granting Rowden’s wish.
Rowden Go Pangcoga is survived by his wife Leizl, their daughter Zakiah, mother Lorelei, and brothers Hassem and Hisham.
