We’ve seen tons of properties being auctioned off at unbelievable prices. Earlier this year, a Premium Pool Villa room at the Lexis Hibiscus in Port Dickson was auctioned off at over RM500k and prior to that, an unfinished residential unit at the M Vertica in Cheras was put up for approximately RM470k.
If there’s a property that’s being auctioned off at a major 70% discount, would you buy it? Netizens were definitely surprised that this was an actual offer made by a homeowner of a residential unit in Kuala Lumpur.

Over the weekend, a Facebook user who goes by Muhammad Ishaq posted a property at Arte Plus @ Jalan Ampang that’s being auctioned at a much lower price than it originally was. According to his captions, the unit was originally priced at RM1.3 million but has now been reduced to RM336k, making it RM1 million lower than the original price.
Not much is known about the property other than it basically offers an interesting view and is also the owner’s choice to be used as a homestay since the Arte Plus is known as a popular spot. After the Facebook post went viral, many were surprised about the 70% discount on the 969-square-foot unit and inquired about the maintenance fees as well as the benefits of purchasing the property.
Regarding the maintenance fee, Muhammad Ishaq revealed that the bank will cover the cost. Netizens also shared their experiences of staying in the residential building with some saying that it’s definitely worth the price because of all the facilities offered while others argued that the building’s maintenance still needs improvements.

It was also said that the more affordable auction would have a huge impact on the property, especially for investors who want to make a profit from resale. Apparently, the unit can even be reauctioned at a lower price than RM336k if there are no interested bidders willing to invest in the property.
Arte Plus is located behind M City Modern Duplex and is only a 5 minute drive away from Ampang Point Shopping Centre.
