There’s plenty of reasons why one would decide to change their handphone. But for Hong Kong star Andy Lau (刘德华), the frequency of him changing his handphone hinges on one thing, and one thing only.
Andy Lau was recently announced as Huawei’s brand ambassador. Well, Andy’s new status had many curious as to how often he changes his phone and lucky for us, Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋) popped the question. Well, Andy’s unconventional answer left us in stitches!
During a recent event, Nicholas Tse had shared his marvel about 61-year-old Andy Lau being Huawei’s ambassador. “In an era of such rapid development, although Andy Lau doesn’t know much about computers, he can still surf the internet on his mobile phone,” he reportedly said. “(And since) his daughter is getting older, he now likes to post photos of his work and daily life on his social media.”
But, it seems Andy’s status as Huawei’s new ambassador also left Nicholas curious about how often he changes his phone. Nicholas claimed that he had actually asked Andy about it after watching the press conference yesterday (26th September). However, his response left Nicholas laughing.
“Andy said, how often (he) changes (his) cellphone depends on whether his daughter is naughty or not,” he revealed. “If (she is) naughty and drops it a few times, you might need to replace it immediately. If she is not naughty, it might last for a long time!”
Well, that is certainly one factor you cannot account for when it comes to the lifespan of a phone! On our end, we hope Andy Lau’s daughter will be less ‘naughty’ for the sake of her father’s phone in the future.
