Samsung Malaysia Electronics today announced the arrival of the highly anticipated Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in Malaysia. You might’ve already been briefly introduced to the smartphones previously, but now, let’s take a closer look at it.

And yes, Malaysia is one of the first few countries in Southeast Asia to witness the official arrival of the 2 smartphones.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge is carefully crafted from metal and glass.The Galaxy S6 edge in particular has its glass body made from Corning Gorilla Glass 4 – the toughest glass to date.
Both phones come in an array of colourful jewel tones, incges luding White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz (Galaxy S6 exclusive), and Green Emerald (Galaxy S6 edge exclusive), which elicit a unique visual texture as it reflects natural light.

Enhanced Security

Both of these new devices are ready for immediate enterprise adoption, with market leading MDMs and KNOX enhancements enabled at launch to simplify and improve mobile device management.
Additionally, the “Find My Mobile” featured secures lost devices and protects personal information through a number of services, including the all-new remotely controlled “Reactivation lock”.
Samsung Malaysia’s Personalised Pick-Up Service
Also announced at the launch today was Samsung Malaysia’s pick-up service. What the service does is offer a personalised pick-up service for the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge if there’s no Samsung service centre near you, the owner. And if that’s not attractive enough, the service will be offered for free to all customers who have bought the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge.
To arrange for one, all you need to do is call the 24-hour dedicated careline at 1800 88 7799. The service will only be available for the 2 flagship devices.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will retail at RM2,599 and RM3,099 (prices are inclusive of 6% GST) respectively and available in Malaysia from 17th April onwards with 32GB storage option.
Malaysians can pre-order their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge from 3rd – 12th April through the Samsung Malaysia website. Those who pre-order the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will receive a free wireless charger*.
