You won’t even believe us if we told you but Armin van Buuren’s “Armin Only: Intense” tour actually went on for about a year. Not only that, he made it out well and alive!
A year is an excruciatingly long time to be on tour, and Armin wasn’t alone – he had dancers, vocalists, and the stage crew with him. Now that the Armada mainstay and international legend has wrapped up his global 12-month, 34-show “Armin Only: Intense” tour that covered 5 continents and broke records with 5-and-6-hour-long shows featuring his own original material, he can finally focus on other things that desperately need his attention.
Such as the root of it all – music.
The trance maestro recently put out a 2-disc album reliving the tour for fans who missed the live performances. We can’t say enough how grateful we are because like many others (save for the extremely lucky ones, dammit), we didn’t get to go for any of the Asian legs e.g. Manila, Taipei of his tour.
The “Armin Only: Intense The Music” was released this week and is available as a boxed 4-disc set with a special DVD and exclusive bonus content. Footage on the DVD was recorded live at 5 of the tour’s 30+ dates, including shows in Quito, São Paulo, Medellin, Moscow, and Buenos Aires.
