18 East x Goods & Services Mule
Whether you like it or not, mules are undeniably epic pieces of footwear that are as fashionable as they are comfortable. Which is why 18 East and Goods & Services are going hard on their latest bespoke black mules.
Debuting back in April, this LA-made mule boasts a brand new colourway as well as a snazzy suede upper lined with lambskin leather and equipped with a removable shroud. Looking more closely, the shoe has a tumbled natural leather footbed with co-branded 18 East and Goods & Services detailing, as well as a vegetable-tanned leather strap with an aluminium buckle.
This assembly is placed atop Vibram’s Sphike midsole and outsole, a lightweight, supportive device that was first created for trail running and also has a long-lasting all-weather traction pattern. Like all Goods & Services’ creations, it’s fully repairable, reversible, and customisable using any of the cobbling options available on the Goods & Services webstore.
The partnership is the second footwear collab for Goods & Services and 18 East; in 2023, they joined hands on a co-branded version of Goods & Services’ first original mule design, which included a forest green strap.
The 18 East x Goods & Services mule will be available via Goods & Services and 18 East webstores on 30th July for US$280 (~RM1,305).
THE MUSEUM VISITOR x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14
The South Korean label THE MUSEUM VISITOR is teaming up with ASICS to outfit the GEL-KAYANO 14 in an entirely new, exclusive collaboration look. First off, the two companies have given the classic GEL-KAYANO 14 three new coats of paint: “Illusion Blue,” “Mineral Brown,” and “Glacier Grey.”
The extended tongue on all three pairs has been adjusted to rest atop the lacing system, displaying the ASICS logo in a prominent manner. The lateral heel features THE MUSEUM VISITOR branding, which is notable for being combined with an airbrush effect as one colour transitions into another. Each version of the shoe features a unique gradient, transitioning from its namesake colour to a solid white or metallic silver accent.
THE MUSEUM VISITOR x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 will be available globally on 16th August for US$160 (~RM839) at HBX and select retailers.
