MTV Asia To Broadcast The “2019 One K Concert” Via Twitter

The 3rd edition of One K Concert was held at the National Assembly Building in South Korea on 1st March 2019.

For those who were unable to catch the full showcase, you can now watch it via MTV Asia who will be broadcasting the concert on its Twitter account.

Being the 1st cable broadcaster of the concert in Southeast Asia, MTV Asia is partnering with Twitter to stream the “2019 One K Concert” to help as many fans as possible to get their dose of Kpop.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of a movement towards independence in South Korea, over 20 Kpop stars lent their voices in this concert that signifies the message of “One Dream, One Korea, One World”.

“The 2019 One K Concert as well as our weekly live airing of music variety programme, The Show, allow fans to catch performances by new bands, well-known artists, and rising stars from the Korean music industry,” said Abhishek K Rao, Senior Director, MTV Brand, Southeast Asia.

Hosted by boy band Astro’s Cha Eun Woo and girl group Gugudan’s Kim Se-Jeong, the star-studded lineup includes Ha Sung Woon, OH MY GIRL, MONSTA X, APRIL, ASTRO, SF9, (G)I-dle, LABOUM, SONAMOO, CLC, DREAMCATCHER, KARD, ONF, TRCNG, DUETTO, Kim Jo Han, Baek Ji-Young, Jung In, ALi, Cheetah, BEN, Seo JiAn, Gilgu Bonggu, and Juniel.

The “2019 One K Concert” airs tomorrow on 26th March 2019 at 10.40pm on MTV’s official Twitter handle @mtvasia. The repeat linear telecast will be on 27th March 2019 at 10am as well as 4pm.

“This collaboration is part of Twitter’s ongoing collaboration with Viacom International Media Networks to bring more of their premium content to Twitter,” said Carl Cheng, Head of Entertainment Partnerships, Twitter, Southeast Asia & Greater China.

“This also provides #KpopTwitter fans around the region the unique experience to enjoy the concert and join in conversations about their favourite music and musicians,” Cheng continued.
