It looks like another Hong Kong star has recently tied the knot! According to reports, Malaysian-born actress Jacquelin Ch’ng (庄思敏) has married her non-celebrity boyfriend in an intimate ceremony in Bali, Indonesia.
News outlets have reported that Jacquelin and her boyfriend, Matthew Wong (黄耀彬), tied the knot on 8th October 2025 (Wednesday). A leaked image of the wedding invitation reveals that the ceremony was held at the Conrad Bali hotel. The event also had a strict no-camera policy, likely to protect the couple’s privacy. However, Jacquelin did share a glimpse of the ceremony, posting a photo of her getting ready to exchange vows.

This wedding marks the actress’s second marriage, following her divorce from Taiwanese businessman Brian Yang in 2022. After her split, Jacquelin has expressed her wish to find a new partner, even attending blind dates. According to reports, her new husband holds a corporate position, and his father is the senior executive at a listed company. Some reports also wrote that the businessman is highly regarded by his superiors.
While the wedding was an intimate affair, the guest list had some familiar faces besides the bride and groom’s family members. Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung (楊明), who is dating Jacquelin’s sister Lisa (莊思明), was also in Bali during the wedding day, alongside Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu (胡杏儿) and her husband, Philip Lee. Chinese-American singer Adrienne Lau was also spotted in a photo with the other stars.

Jacquelin and Matthew have reportedly been dating for a little over a year but have kept their relationship low-key. Some believed that the actress has purposely maintained privacy because Matthew isn’t a celebrity or someone in the entertainment industry. However, some reports suggested that Jacquelin didn’t want to publicise her new relationship, given the high-profile nature of her first marriage and subsequent divorce.
Nevertheless, we extend our congratulations to Jacquelin and Matthew on their marriage. May their love last a lifetime.
