With support from Warner Music Singapore, StarHub Singapore, BlackBerry Singapore, and YouTube APAC, the YouTube Stars is slated to happen next week!

The YouTube Stars is a unique music festival that will feature a line-up of popular YouTube sensations on one same stage, transcending them from online to a live stage. It is the first ever music festival to be officially sanctioned by YouTube in the world.

The festival will feature international and local acts that have successfully gained a following on YouTube, and they were chosen based on their popularity and viewership ratings on YouTube.

In recent years, there has been a rising trend of YouTube sensations drawing millions of views for their videos and garnering hundreds of thousands of channel subscribers. These talented musicians have built up fan bases all over the world, including Singapore.

The exciting line-up YouTube Stars includes:

  • David Choi (USA)
  • Tiffany Alvord (USA)
  • Joseph Vincent (USA)
  • Jason Chen (USA)
  • Ana Free (UK)

When asked, Simon Nasser (General Manager of Warner Music Singapore) said, “We are happy to have YouTube’s support for this music festival and having The YouTube Stars officially sanctioned and associated with the YouTube branding.”

“Together with our co-organiser, Music & Movement, we hope that The YouTube Stars will serve as a platform for acts to build their name from a local stage to large scale concerts, touring countries in the region and internationally.”

“YouTube is a great platform to connect emerging music artists with a global audience. We are glad to partner Warner Music Singapore on their first concert in Asia with musicians who have YouTube to build an international fanbase”, Anthony Zameczkowski (Head of Music for YouTube APAC) added.
