After revealing their relationship on Valentine’s Day in 2016, Miss Hong Kong’s Karmen Kwok (郭嘉文) have since been known as “The Billionaire’s Girlfriend” for dating HK tycoon, Richard Li (李泽楷). Richard has constantly pampered Karmen with gifts worth up to millions. He has even brought her along to horse racing events, publicly flaunting their relationship.
However, as of recent, rumours of the couple’s breakup has been circulating way more often after Karmen was seen in casual attire on a day out with TVB actress Iris Lam (林凱恩). Meanwhile, Richard was at a horse race event without his girlfriend by his side.
In the past, Karmen would dress herself in high-fashioned outfits to live up to her title as “Billionaire’s Girlfriend.” Two days ago (6th May 2023), Iris posted photos on her Instagram of her outing with Karmen. From the post, Karmen was seen wearing a green top with flared jeans. Paired with a Celine bag and white sneakers, the overall look gave off a girl next door’s vibe.
The way Karmen dressed herself was casual yet chic. This look was really down-to-earth, which made netizens suspect that perhaps Karmen has called it quits with the billionaire businessman. On the other hand, Richard was spotted at a horse racing event by himself. Normally accompanied by his girlfriend, this led to even more rumours spreading regarding the couple’s splitting up.
Don’t go waiting for the couple to verify their rumoured breakup though. Y’all know that ain’t going to happen.
