Almost two decades since its release in 2006, “The Devil Wears Prada” is set for an overdue return in the age of digital media with some of its original cast reprising their roles for the upcoming sequel. Not forgetting the absolute devil herself, Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep, is sure to shine in the second edition of the movie with her first look stunning media outlets worldwide.
After confirming the release of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” for 2026, sources from Entertainment Weekly have spotted the set of the sequel’s production with Meryl Streep. The 76-year-old actress can be seen with Priestley’s iconic platinum white hair, large shades, a bedazzled tumbler and a colour-blocked outfit, seemingly channelling her inner ruthless fashionista with just one look.

Meryl was spotted on the set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” yesterday (23rd July 2025) in New York City. Pictures of her emerged after Anne Hathaway teased her reprise as Andy, seemingly in the same colour tones as Priestley. Was this just a pure coincidence, or could it be linked to something planned by the producers?
Fans of the movie have expressed their excitement for Streep’s reprise of Miranda Priestly with Twitter user @/TAYXKDOT commenting, “She’s got an aura around her where you can just feel her judging you from miles away even if she isn’t looking”. Netizens have also praised iconic actress’s dedication to her role, with Twitter user @/matheussheridan commenting, “Her acting method involves fully embodying her characters, even off set. She isolates herself when playing difficult roles, adopting their mannerism in real life. Probably why she walks like Miranda”.

Additionally, “The Devil Wears Prada 2” welcomes 2 brand new cast members, Kenneth Branagh and “Bridgerton” star Simone Ashley. Are you ready to see the cast back in their roles in the iconic fashion film?
