Uh, oh! Our childhood’s nightmare has come alive as Nickelodeon’s creepiest TV series, “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” is now available on Youtube!
All thanks to a very kind TV addict on Reddit, it was made known that every episode of Nickelodeon’s “Are You Afraid of the Dark” can be found on YouTube now. Laugh all you want but yes, this TV series is one that send chills down our spines and haunt us every night in our dreams.
But despite knowing that it’s going to scare us, most 90s kids just couldn’t stop watching the show, which became one of the main sources of terror. Created in 1991, the series featured various ghostly tales, as told by a group of young people aka the Midnight Society that gather around a campfire to share their stories. From aliens to monsters to ghosts, the Midnight society meet up at a secret location in the woods to share their tales.
The series only ran for less than 6 years as it ended in 1996 but another 2 seasons were revived between 1999 and 2000. Occasionally, TV will put on re-runs of the series as the series has only been made available on DVD.
Don’t say that we didn’t share but the series also featured a few notable actors who became successful later in their lives: Neve Campbell, Ryan Gosling, Mia Kirshner, Hayden Christensen and so on! Yes, you can now watch the very young Ryan Gosling on YouTube now:
