There’s no need to be upset about not being able to go to Las Vegas for the “Fight of the Century” this coming week because HBO Asia announced that the boxing match between the 1st and only 8-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, and the 5-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather, will be broadcast live exclusively in Malaysia on HBO.
Described as the “Fight of the Century”, the match will be shown to the TV viewers in Malaysia on HBO/HBO HD (Astro Ch 411/431) and online on Astro On The Go.
The face-off between the 2 legends, the Filipino world champion boxer Pacquiao, and the presently undefeated American professional boxer Mayweather, will take place on 2nd May at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
HBO Asia will broadcast the match live on 3rd May 2015 from 9am exclusively on HBO/HBO HD (Astro Ch 411/431) and Astro On The Go.
The details are as follows:
- 9am – Gamalier Rodriguez v Vasyl Lomachenko (WBO Featherweight Title – 12 ROUNDS)
- 10am – Leo Santa Cruz v Jose Cayetano (Featherweight Bout – 10 ROUNDS)
- 11am – Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao (WBC, WBO, WBA World Welterweight Championship – 12 ROUNDS)

- 3rd May (Sunday) at 8.30pm
- 5th May (Tuesday) at 9pm
