The whole fiasco surrounding local singers Firdhaus Farmizi (菲道尔) and Diorlying Tan (DIOR大穎) is still a hot topic, especially since there are now rumours that the two might be rekindling their romance. Recently, Firdhaus’ manager, singer Yise Loo (羅憶詩), spoke up on the allegations.
Local news outlet Oriental Daily recently interviewed Yise to hear her thoughts about Firdhaus and Diorlying’s relationship. The singer is the founder of Loolala Music (噜啦啦音乐工作室), which manages Firdhaus. During the interview, Yise spoke about the viral photo of the two singers on a plane, which sparked rumours of them getting back together after their tumultuous split last year.
The label founder admitted that she wasn’t aware of the alleged Japan trip, saying, “When I saw that photo, I thought it was an old photo, but I didn’t want to dive deep into it, and I didn’t ask (about it)”. The 41-year-old continued talking about Firdhaus’ cheating allegations, saying, “The so-called right and wrong depends on how you judge it. In addition, we don’t know how things will turn out in the end.”
Yise continued, saying, “I am not the person involved, so it is not my place to make the final judgment on this matter. I think adults should be responsible for their actions regardless of right or wrong.”. She also admitted that dealing with Firdhaus’ scandal had been stressful, especially facing netizens’ comments about his cheating allegations. She then advised netizens to refrain from leaving negative comments on social media.
The singer remained silent about Firdhaus’ current relationship with Diorlying. However, she did share some good news about her relationship. Yise revealed that she and her boyfriend, singer-songwriter WeiC (陳韋汐), are going strong and will marry sometime this year. She also revealed that she and Firdhaus are releasing new music later this year, noting that they had to postpone Firdhaus’ album due to the scandal.
