While there have been countless documentaries and reality TV shows on the supernatural, there are still a lot of things we do not and may never understand about paranormal beings. Many were skeptical when this e-hailing driver recalled his encounter with a ghost passenger.
The story of a random ghost may have scared people but how would you react if the person you were with was not who you thought it was? A netizen who goes by @adyppp recently posted a series of Instagram stories on his TikTok channel about his experience with, what he believes to be a ghost.
The professional photographer made plans with a friend to go watch “The Super Mario Bros.” movie at, what appears to be, TGV cinemas after they were done with work. The two friends decided to rest at their respective homes before leaving for the movie. The content creator went to pick up his friend at his house at 11:34pm but couldn’t get a response after texting and calling multiple times.
Not long after that, the friend called him up explaining that he was busy getting ready. The fact that the cinema was completely empty didn’t surprise the TikToker as their showtime was at 12:30am. Halfway through the movie, the cameraman went to the restroom where he met another man who suddenly warned him to be careful. He shrugged it off thinking that the stranger was just trying to scare him. @adyppp and his friend went straight home after the movie ended.
Apart from the stranger’s warning, everything that happened that evening was pretty normal. However, the photographer woke up the next morning to his friend’s messages apologising for not being able to make it last night as he fell asleep and forgot about their movie plans. So who exactly did he watch the movie with? Unfortunately, the story ended there with no update.
Whether or not the ghostly encounter was true, netizens commented on how thoughtful the ghost was for accompanying @adyppp to watch a movie. Some were very curious about the entity that accompanied him that night while others were wondering about the stranger in the restroom who warned the photographer about his “friend”.
It seems like we may never get an answer to these questions. We don’t know about you but the story made us reconsider our choices about watching a late movie.
