Many people usually go on a well-deserved holiday trip during a long weekend. While a 3-day holiday may not be enough to fully rejuvenate ourselves, we’d still make the best of it to rest up and destress ourselves. If you’re planning to apply for leave to extend your holiday then, how about checking out our guide to spending your holidays wisely?

With that being said, sometimes holidays don’t necessarily go as planned. The reason being? You aren’t the only one travelling and driving on the road – thus traffic congestion happens. If you were one of the people who decided to travel to Cameron Highlands during the long weekend, we can only imagine your pain from this TikTok video:

A netizen with the username @anisaadzwan posted a video on TikTok showing the dreadful traffic congestion at Cameron Highland. From the video, the traffic was so bad that cars were barely even moving at all. The incident apparently took place sometime during the long weekend with the video being uploaded on Sunday (9th October).

“To those wanting to go up, be sure to be very patient😅,” the user captioned. After it was posted, the TikTok video managed to garner more than 809k views, 18.1k likes, and 1.8k comments. It is currently unknown how long this congestion lasted but from the looks of it, we can guess that it must’ve taken hours.

Netizens reacted to the video with many commenting that they can relate to those stuck in traffic as seen in the video. Others suggested that one should go to Cameron Highlands on weekdays as the destination will be crowded during weekends and public holidays. There were also those who prefer to not go to the tourist destination at all.

We really hope those stuck in traffic in Cameron Highlands enjoyed their holiday regardless. Perhaps the next trip will be better!
