Malaysian Woman Recalls How A Foreign Man Forcibly Tried To Open Her Car Door While She Was At Berjaya Times Square

You’ve surely had to wait for someone in your car before. It’s not an uncommon occurrence. While waiting in the car may sometimes be a necessity, keeping safe is equally as important. One of the many things people insist on is locking the car doors, and for good reason.

This lady unexpectedly discovered how important locking your doors is. As she was waiting for her husband in Berjaya Times Square, a stranger tried to open her car door!

According to Lilly Oh, she had been waiting for her husband in the car while he ran errands. As she waited a Myanmar man apparently walked by and saw her in the car. He smiled at her and suddenly attempted to open her car door. “Good thing I have a habit of locking (my) doors,” she exclaimed.

The man continued trying to open her car door which terrified her. In an attempt to get him to leave, Lilly tried pressing the horn. “I thought he would go,” she admitted. “Not only did he not leave, he kept standing at the car door, trying to open it.”

Lilly stated she had pressed the horn for a long while, but no one came to help. Desperate, she called her husband to return and thankfully, he did. He ended up chasing the man away. “I really didn’t think I’d come across such a thing when I stopped on the road in front of Times Square. Scared the hell out of me…” Lilly said.

She was asked why she hadn’t simply driven away. Apparently, she’s not confident in her driving. Additionally, the situation was too stressful for her to even attempt driving the RV. Some netizens assumed the foreigner may have just mistaken her car for an e-hailing vehicle. However, others argued he would not have continued attempting to open the door otherwise.

Either way, it’s a good thing Lilly kept her car doors locked. That’s a habit everyone should have. After all, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
