Malaysian R&B/neo-soul artist Najwa Mahiaddin, or better known by her stage moniker NJWA, is heading to the land of the rising sun next month for her very 1st tour ever!
NJWA who is the daughter of Malaysia’s Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, is set to promote her latest self-titled EP “NJWA” as well as her new image after a 3-year hiatus from the industry.

“Najwa is returning from her three year hiatus with a darker undertone in her music, experimenting with somber and minimalistic echoes over the usual warm piano accompaniments. Her soul’s deepest shadows unveiled,” as written on her social media.
The 32-year-old will be making several stops in Tokyo including Narita, Sumida, Yokohama, and Gaienmae, from 3rd to 8th November 2018.
At Gaienmae, NJWA will be performing alongside Tokyo-based multinational jazz group Fontana Folle and other yet-to-be-announced performers.
NJWA previously released 2 EPs; “Innocent Soul” (2011) and “Aurora” (2014). She was named Best New Artiste and received Best Local English Song via “Got to Go” at Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) in 2011.
