Recently, a certain Malaysian singer/actress was spotted selling steamed buns or ‘pau’ by the roadside that left passersby and fans confused and curious. Is she struggling to?
A video posted on Instagram by @farahazman167 went viral and caught the attention of netizens. The video is captioned, “This beautiful girl is doing business so what are you waiting for? Let’s check out the stall, her pau is soooo good! The stall is located in Jalan Ipoh nearby the Shell gas station”.
Many Instagram users commented on the video post admiring her beauty and willingness to work hard despite the very hot weather. When the video went even more viral, netizens began to recognise the beauty selling ‘pau’ by the roadside.
To everyone’s surprise, the beautiful vendor turned out to be Malaysian singer and actress Nor Razlinda Razali or better known by her stage name, Bienda. Does this mean she’s struggling to make ends meet? Not at all. The 36-year-old singer/actress was simply helping her husband out with his small business of selling high quality snacks by the roadside.
The “Jaga Hati” singer reposted the viral video on her own Instagram feed and wrote in her caption thanking everyone who went to buy their ‘pau’ and also thanking the original poster of the video for making it go viral. She states that doing business by the roadside isn’t all that different from running her own business of headscarfs and inners which she promotes on her social media.
“Papapau Bienda Gebu” is the name of the steamed bun business started by Bienda’s husband who was formerly in the same industry as a producer at Media Prima. We love a good and supportive wife who is ready to help her husband with anything he sets his heart out.
