It’s been over a decade since Macanese actress Isabella Leong (梁洛施) ended her high-profile relationship with Hong Kong businessman Richard Li (李泽楷), with whom she had three children out of wedlock. Isabella’s recent appearance also brought up discussions about her relationship with Richard. The pair were together for three years and are parents to three children, but never tied the knot. She spoke about the relationship, saying, “Looking back, I don’t regret it because I know that once I made the choice, I have to keep moving forward.”
However, the star confessed that she had intended to marry Richard, adding, “Of course I did at that time, but I couldn’t force it”. Isabella also shared why she decided to call things off with the businessman, revealing, “He’s too popular with women. I couldn’t accept that. According to reports, Isabella and Richard met in 2008 and welcomed their first son in 2009, followed by twin boys in 2010. After the two broke up in 2011, there were rumours that Richard had given Isabella HK$1 billion (approximately RM572 million) as a “break-up fee”, but both parties denied the allegations. Isabella remained single since the split, but there are recent rumours that she’s seeing Chinese actor Marc Ma (马浴柯).
