Submitting entries to the Tropicana Twister “Live.Love.Life” contest “just for the fun of it” not only proved to be a delightful experience for Abd Hanan Ahmad Nadzeri, but it also gave him a memorable Raya gift – in the form of a sleek BMW X1!
The father of two from Setapak said winning any prize in the contest never crossed his mind when he was mailing in his entries. However, when he received a call from organizers Tropicana Twister a few days before Hari Raya informing him of his win, he was over the moon.
“I took part just for the fun of it and never imagined I would win any prize, let alone the Grand prize. But participating in this contest turned out to be a decision that made for a great Raya celebration this year. You could say tat this win was a family effort as my wife and two teenage children always buy Tropicana Twister”, the 47-year-old geophysicist Abd Hanan said at the prize presentation event held at Ingress Auto in Damansara yesterday.
This year’s “Live.Love.Life” contest was the fourth edition, which saw a mind-blowing RM900,00o worth of prizes waiting to be won. There was the BMW x1, 10 branded LED TV and home theater systems, 20 laptops, 30 handphones, 40 DSLR cameras, and 50 consolation prizes of RM500 in cash each.
2013’s edition of the contest also offered participants three monthly prizes of premium watches (TAG Heuer) worth RM10,00 and 12 weekly prizes of a gold coin.
And to think that all the participants had to do was to purchase any Tropicana Twister product, answer a simple question in the contest form, and attach the right quantity of labels as proof of purchase. Ace!
