Pop-rock band empty page., known for their emotionally driven works that are “sad, but not too sad” such as “Mata(Hari)” and “Bagaimana Jika Aku Tiada”, is closing out 2025 with the release of their latest studio album titled “Punca Kecewa”. This marks the group’s third studio album, comprising members Zic as vocalist and songwriter, Zac handling musical arrangements and guitar, and Alip Pedul on drums.

“Punca Kecewa” features a total of 10 tracks, consisting of seven new songs and three special audio interludes. The album is primarily written by Zic, with Zac and Alip contributing to the musical composition and production. It also showcases collaborations with Aziz Harun, Mohsein Kush, Rudeen and Airliftz on several tracks.

As the main songwriter, Zic describes the album as “an outpouring, or an honest letter from someone who has never felt that they are enough.”  As a band that often explores themes of mental health and the realities of life in their work, empty page. presents this album as a point of self-reflection, hoping that the songs can serve as emotional companions for their listeners.

According to Zic, who prioritises honesty in his writing over producing work that is simply ‘easy to sell’, “Nowadays, people are quick to label each other as ‘toxic’ or a ‘red flag’, but few are truly willing to take the time to understand one another, and the issues that shape a person’s behaviour. These songs are very personal. They are heavy, but life is heavy, and I don’t like to lie. These songs have accompanied me through life’s ups and downs, and I hope they can also be companions for our listeners.”

In conclusion, empty page. shared, “Punca Kecewa reflects all of us. At some point in life, we have been a source of disappointment—and we have also felt the pain of letting down those around us; whether friends, family, or partners. The most important thing is that we recognise it and strive to improve ourselves, for our own sake.”

“Punca Kecewa” is available on all major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. Listen to one of the songs from the album below:
