Taiwanese model Lin Chi-ling (林志玲) married her sweetheart Japanese actor-singer Akira aka Ryōhei Kurosawa (黒澤 良平) in 2019. The two have allegedly have a happy marriage, however, rumours have been claiming otherwise.
Three years after Lin Chi-ling and Akira married, the duo had a son and have been keeping a low profile since. But, earlier this year, in March, there were rumours that Chi-ling was being domestically abused by Akira! Needless to say, such allegations have prompted the model to clarify the issue.
The rumours regarding the 48-year-old model’s situation reportedly stemmed from an alleged photo of her in a hospital. The photo showed her laid up in bed with an IV in the back of her hand and her nose taped and swollen. However, Chi-ling has since denied the allegations via her agent.
“(This is a) reminder not to mis (up) other people’s (photos),” she reportedly said. “Thank you for your concern. (Chi-ling and her husband) are fine. Both parties must work hard to maintain a happy marriage.” She also allegedly requested people stop entertaining false rumours.
Her agent later added that Chi-ling had only recently heard about the rumours as she rarely watches the news. “(She) laughed and said that there is no domestic violence, only hugs. (She) also hopes what she passes on to others is positive, at least she will always try to do so. (She) hopes everyone can live a good life and be happy every day,” they stated.
Well, we’re certainly happy to hear Lin Chi-ling declare that everything is fine. We’re even more delighted to know that she is getting plenty of hugs from her husband! We wish them well and hope they continue living happily together.
