Hello Kitty fans now have another reason to bank with Hong Leong Bank (HLB) with the recent introduction of the first-ever limited winter edition Hello Kitty Debit Card. This limited edition card also features a one-of-a-kind vertical design, unlike the common horizontal layout of other debit cards.
To introduce the limited edition winter-themed Hello Kitty Debit Card, Hong Leong Bank kicked off their roadshow series with a 1-day event at the Publika Shopping Gallery recently. Children and the young-at heart had the opportunity to get up close to the Hello Kitty car, while a “Dress Like Hello Kitty” contest was organised for children aged 5 to 15 years.
Other fun activities included a clown performing balloon sculpture, cupcake decorating, a crafts corner for kids, and a photo wall with accessories for dress up.
In conjunction with the event, the first 100 applicants for the Hello Kitty Debit Card received a Hello Kitty lunch box while shoppers received a Hello Kitty shopping bag with a minimum of RM100 spent at Publika using their HLB debit card.
On top of that, Hello Kitty fans will be glad to know that Hello Kitty is coming to Malaysia for Meet and Greet Sessions at Paradigm Mall on 26th and 27th January 2013 during the roadshow happening from 24th to 27th January 2013, as well as during the roadshow at City Square Johor Bahru from 1st to 3rd March 2013.
The limited winter edition Hello Kitty Debit Card is available to all new customers aged 18 years and above who open any Hong Leong Bank Savings or Current Account for individuals, either on a single or joint-name basis. Members of the public can open an account with as little as RM200!
