Dubbed one of the founding fathers of rock, Deep Purple decorated history started in 1968 with their debut album, “Shades of Deep Purple”. Some of the most notable awards from the ’60s band include winning the “Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement” in 2019, the “Legend Award” at the 2008 World Music Awards, as well as being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Additionally, the band has also won three Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards in 2011 for their “Now What?!” and “Machine Head” albums.
