In case y’all don’t know, our resident hero Lee Zii Jia (李梓嘉) is already back in Malaysia and is currently undergoing self-quarantine. Upon his arrival earlier on 2nd August (Monday), the badminton player expressed that he’s been craving for nasi lemak.
However, much to the 23-year-old’s disappointment, the hotel where he’s placed under quarantine do not provide the beloved local dish in their menu! Through a post made on his IG Story, Zii Jia then revealed that he had ordered nasi kandar instead.
Not long after that, Zii Jia came up with another post on his Instagram. He shared that he had received not one, not two, but three packs of nasi lemak! “Sorry if I hurt you (possibly hinting at his recently viral old tweet), but I want to focus (on) eating my nasi lemak now. Okay bye!” he wrote on his IG Story.
In another social media update posted on his TikTok, the Alor Setar-born athlete also shared a clip of his reaction to the unexpected gifts. “Alamak, I have no idea who ordered these. I only asked for one nasi lemak. They came one, two and three (counting the packs of food). Then, how do I finish all of it? Anyway, thank you so much. I will try my best to finish all of them yea,” he said in the clip.
