Another K-Pop couple has bit the dust, and this time, it’s none other than the unexpected pairing of JYJ’s Junsu and EXID’s Hani. The couple was reported to have broken up by Yonhap News earlier today (Tuesday, 13th September) and the news was confirmed by Hani’s label, Banana Culture.
In an exclusive report by Yonhap News, a source revealed, “There were rumors of them breaking up but they had been meeting well. However, they recently naturally drifted apart due to their individual busy schedules.”
Following the breakup, Banana Culture released a statement confirming the news, “It’s true that Kim Junsu and Hani broke up. We cannot confirm the specific time when they broke up. It appears as though they naturally broke up because of their busy schedules.”
The couple was propelled to the public’s eye on 1st January, when they were revealed to be dating by South Korean news outlet Dispatch. They were said to have been dating for 6 months when the news broke.
We’re devastated that the cute couple broke up, but we sincerely hope that things work out for them in the future.
