A couple of months ago, fans were thrilled when it was first announced that Korean rapper Loco (로꼬) would be bringing his “SCRAPS” world tour to Kuala Lumpur later this year. The concert was scheduled to take place on 2nd November 2025 (Sunday), at Zepp KL, with tickets going on sale earlier this month.
Unfortunately, there’s been some bad news. It has now been confirmed that the show will no longer go ahead. Here’s why:

Yesterday (Thursday, 18th September), concert organiser StarryLive Entertainment delivered the news on their social media platforms that Loco’s upcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur has officially been cancelled. In a press statement, the company wrote: “Due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the local issues and after thorough consideration, we regret to inform you that the Kuala Lumpur show has been cancelled.”
Fans who have already purchased their tickets through the official ticketing website will receive a full refund, with details of the refund process to be announced soon. The company also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation and expressed its gratitude for the fans’ continued support.

As expected, many fans were left devastated by the announcement, with many questioning why the concert had been cancelled so soon after ticket sales went live. A few fans commented that they had anticipated the cancellation, noting that several other Korean artists’ shows scheduled for this year had met the same fate, albeit not under the same agency or event organiser.
Despite a very successful performance at the Tiger Soju Flavoured Lager launch party last year, who would’ve thought that his own solo show would not go ahead as planned? We may never know the exact reason, but we sure hope that Loco will consider performing in Malaysia on his next tour.
