Anne Hathaway Shares BTS Pix Of “The Devil Wears Prada 2”

After almost two decades of waiting, we’re finally getting our first look at the much-awaited sequel to the beloved comedy/drama “The Devil Wears Prada”.
In these brief glimpses, not only do we get to see the lead star Anne Hathaway reprise her role as Andy Sachs, but they also clue us in on what to look out for.

In her Instagram post, Hathaway can be seen posing right by a massive number “2” statue, rocking a patterned dress and a tan bucket hat. We can also see her wear this exact outfit in one of the early photos taken by BACKGRID, alongside a hanger bag that reads “Runway”, suggesting her return to the iconic fictional publication.
“The Princess Diaries” star also doubled down by posting an additional photo of her showcasing a pinstripe sleeveless vest with matching pants. We also see her strike a nostalgic pose while on the phone – many fans were quick to notice the resemblance and rightfully responded by creating memes about the iconic moment.
For those who are not familiar with the plot, it centres on Andy, a budding journalist who accepts a position at a fashion magazine, but is ultimately controlled by her demanding editor, Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly.

The sequel will see the two actors reprise their roles, with the plot centring on Priestly struggling to stay afloat with the decline of traditional magazine publishing amidst the rise of its digital counterpart. She is also facing friction with people like Emily Blunt’s Emily Charlton, Miranda’s former assistant-turned-ultra-powerful exec for a luxury advertising company. Nostalgia be damned, as we will also be seeing an injection of fresh, new faces, such as Kenneth Branagh, who will be playing Miranda’s husband.
Unfortunately, however, we do not know more than that, as the cast remains tight-lipped about any more details outside of what 20th Century Studios said in its press release. We can expect the cast and crew to drip-feed us more information in the coming months, though, as we draw closer to its 1st May, 2026 release date.
Kevin Feige’s “Seven-Year Plan” Includes “X-Men,” “Blade” & Other Future Titles

To say this is a big month for Marvel would be a gross understatement. The highly anticipated summer blockbuster “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is just a few days away from its theatrical release — and to say it is the most important movie since “Avengers: Endgame” (and will affect the MCU as a whole) might be another understatement. Despite this, the entertainment company is already gearing up for what’s next in the company’s timeline.
Earlier this week, Marvel boss Kevin Feige invited several big-name US-based news outlets to the Marvel headquarters for a sit-down conversation where they discussed the company’s next step moving forward. At this private yet casual function, the Marvel president teased his “seven-year plan” that will run all the way until 2032. In it, several familiar titles, such as “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” (Summer 2026), “Avengers: Doomsday” (2026), and “Avengers: Secret Wars” (2027), remain unchanged.

However, Feige said that although there is still a plan, outside of the three aforementioned titles, nothing is set in stone for now. One of these is the possibility of the Mahershala Ali-led “Blade” movie finally seeing the light of day, following several pushbacks and being left alone in development purgatory. “You can start and have a good script and make it a great script through production, but we didn’t feel confident we could do that on ‘Blade’.” Feige reasoned when discussing the postponed film.
Following that would be the X-Men title, which is rumoured to arrive after “Secret Wars”. There, Feige mentioned that it will somewhat “reset” the timeline after the whirlwind of events that transpired during the Multiverse Saga. Following that blockbuster, Feige said they will go back to working with a “singular timeline”. However, he did not elaborate as to why Marvel will be moving forward with that plan – but we can speculate that it is to correct the course and focus in on the mutant storyline.
As for “X-Men” itself, he did not reveal more than what we already know, such as that Jake Schreier will be directing the film. He also did not share where X-Men will fit in on all this, pre- or post-timeline reset. With so much at stake as well as the timing, we can not easily write this off as mere coincidence. And as many Marvel movies have done before, the answer may lie in the upcoming “Fantastic Four” movie.
