There is more great news for K-pop fans in Malaysia because K-pop superstars Rain (비) and Jessi (제시) will headline the Borneo Sonic Music Festival this October! Also joining the two is rising K-pop star Junny (주니)!

The Borneo Sonic Music Festival (BSMF) is dubbed the biggest music festival in Borneo. This is the event’s second edition since its inaugural event in 2023. Last year, the music festival made waves with headliners CL, Hyoyeon, Taeyang, and Suho. This year, the festival raises the bar, bringing more K-pop acts to the Sarawak Stadium in Kuching.

As mentioned, Korean sensations Rain and Jessi will headline this year’s BSMF. They’re expected to wow the crowd with their energetic performances. Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter Junny, who has been making waves in the K-pop music scene, also joins the lineup. Other regional artists, including Indonesian singers Judika and Bunga Cinta Lestari and Malaysian girl group DOLLA, will also perform at the two-day festival. Moreover, BSMF has teased that more acts will be announced soon – so stay tuned to their social media pages for updates.

The music festival is scheduled for 11th and 12th October 2024 (Friday and Saturday) at Sarawak Stadium, Kuching. Super early bird tickets have already sold out, and early bird tickets are selling for a limited time only. Single-day and two-day passes for Rock Zone, Party Zone and General Admission are available at CloudJoi from 1st August, 12pm onwards. Here are the details of the event:
