Numerous K-pop Celebs Mourn Over Goo Hara’s Tragic Death

Goo Hara (구하라)’s recent death news has indeed left a significant impact on fellow celebrity friends in the Hallyu industry.

Ever since the reports came out, many artistes took to their personal social media accounts – mostly Instagram – to pay their tributes as well as bid their final farewell to the ex-KARA member.

BIGBANG’s rapper T.O.P recently posted a series of screenshots of his conversation with Hara on his Instagram Story. In one of the photos, he shared that the 28-year-old sent him a video of her song called “Midnight Queen”, along with the caption, “A tender-hearted and kind girl who had many dreams and passion for music, Hara.”

Additionally, another photo was of Hara’s birthday message to the 32-year-old. “Your final text was a happy birthday message that I did not respond to. I am really sorry, Hara. Rest in peace in a good place,” T.O.P (real name Choi Seunghyun) apologised.

Apart from that, ex-WINNER member Nam Taehyun, singer Junggigo, Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu also took to their respective Instagram accounts to address the recent unfortunate news. However, the post by Taehyun has been deleted by him for unknown reasons.

세상을 떠난 동료의 추모글을 SNS에 올리는 것 조차 눈치를 보게만드는 세상.. 내가 바라보는 나보다 남들의 시선이 더 중요해져버린 세상.. 그래서 남을 지나치게 의식하고 결국 불행해지는 세상… 직업의 특성상 특히나 따뜻한 관심과 사랑이 가장 필요한 우리가 일면식 없는 남의 얕은 오해와 편견에 정의되어지는 순간 느끼는 자괴감.. 가장 끼 많은 연예인에게 가장 얌전하기를 강요하는 이중잣대.. . 우리 생일이 같다며 앞으로 생일때마다 서로 축하해주고 챙겨주자며 매년 먼저 연락해주던 선하고 고마운 동생이었는데.. 너무 착해서.. 그만큼 마음이 연약해서 상처를 감당하기가 더 쉽지 않았던 것 같다.. . 남들이 바라보는 내가 아닌 내가 바라보는 나 자신이 더 중요하다는걸 항상 기억하면서 살자. 세상의 시선과 기준에 눌려 자존감이 낮아지지 말자. 이들을 위해서라도 더더욱 눈치보지말고 나의 행복과 자아를 위해서 살자. 우리는 사람이라서 실수를 할 수 밖에 없음을 받아들이자. 대신 그 실수를 온전히 발전의 발판으로 삼는 사람이 되자.. . 근래 네명의 지인들이 자신들의 선택으로 안타깝게 세상을 떠났고 내 기억속 아름다운 사람들을 이렇게 떠나보내는게 조금 익숙해지려 한다는 불편한 현실이 더더욱 속상하다.. . 너희들에게는 많이 버거워서 빨리 떠나고 싶었던 세상, 조금이라도 머무를만한 세상 만들어 보도록 노력할게.. 부디 편히 쉬기를.. . Meanwhile, a few artistes have decided to postpone or cancel their scheduled appearance in the wake of Hara’s passing. In this case, 2NE1 member CL, who is set to make her long-awaited music comeback will be postponed until further notice. In addition, former KARA teammate Heo Youngji also has decided to put to halt her appearance on the TV show “Comedy Big League”.

Several big names in K-pop such as Twice, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel and also SNSD’s Yoona flew to Vietnam to attend the “Asia Artist Awards 2019”. All of them were wearing black outfits from head to toe presumably to reflect their mourning state towards the loss of their fellow colleague in the Hallyu scene.

In another news, it was reported that the police will no longer proceed with carrying out autopsy. The Gangnam Police Department has confirmed on 25th November (Monday) that they will be closing the case.

As reported before, the police concluded that there were no signs of crimes involved in the case. Based on the CCTV footage analysis carried out by the officers, the “City Hunter” actress was discovered unconscious by her housekeeper.
