Joe Flizzow recently delighted his followers on Instagram with some photos of him with his former high school headmistress at a wedding event recently.
In the post, the local hip-hop icon also recalled a nostalgic moment he shared with his teacher, known as Puan Jamilah Rahmat back during his school days. As revealed by Flizzow (real name Johan Ishak) himself, the duo last met at her office to discuss about the rapper’s “disciplinary problems”.
“Good morning teacher. Bumped into my former high school principal at Sekolah Menengah Subang Utama, Puan Jamilah Rahmat at a wedding yesterday,” the former Too Phat member shared. “She recalled that the last time we ‘met’ was when I was called to her office due to some disciplinary issues.”
“I was amazed that she remembered every single detail of that meeting. Much love to all teachers that showered us with knowledge and love without expecting anything in return. She made my day when she said, ‘You turned out alright, more than alright. It’s okay to be naughty, but don’t be a bad person,” the rapper added in his post.
Needless to say, many netizens were impressed by the positive trait shown by Flizzow in his posting. In this case, most of them praised the “Ciao” jam-maker for his respectful manner towards his former teacher, despite all the years that passed. One commentator remarked, “This is what we’re talking about! Although you were naughty at that time, but you’re still respectful of your teacher. Salute, man!”
