Malaysian songbird Jaclyn Victor gave some fresh updates on her divorce with former beau Shawn Rivera after it came to light last month.
Refusing to give further statement in addressing the case, the 42-year-old responded, “Whatever has passed, just let it go. Things have happened and already reached its settlement.”
According to the Kepong-born starlet, she has been living her jolly life to the fullest after the separation. “To those who were worried sick about me, as well as fans who were wondering about my condition, I’m honestly okay. I’m currently happy with the kids and that’s just it,” Jac told the media.
“It’s over. If Shawn didn’t say anything, then I will not give further comments. I really don’t want to be too open when it comes to my private life. Since he had already revealed his side of the story, I refused to open my mouth (on the divorce). As long as both our family members and our children are okay, that’s enough,” the “Gemilang” songstress added.
The award-winning entertainer also assured that her ex-husband will not be banned from seeing their 2 children – Jonah Joshiah Rivera and Molly Marguerite Rivera, “They’re currently staying with me in Malaysia, while he’s living in the States. I won’t prevent him from meeting the kids since he is their dad. However, if he intends to do so, he must come here. I will not bring the children to US,” she was quoted as saying.
