TEAM WANG design, a Shanghai-based luxury streetwear label founded by international artist and brand creative director Jackson Wang, has teamed up with French football club, Paris Saint-Germain, for an exclusive fashion collaboration. Created in celebration of the Year of the Horse, TEAM WANG design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese cultural symbolism, reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens that bridges Eastern heritage with French culture.
The collaboration unveils an exclusive collection that includes a home shirt with a Chinese calligraphic character for “horse” (馬) and a pre-match white warm-up jersey with a red gradient design inspired by traditional Chinese ink.
The reimagined home shirt features the club’s iconic red-and-blue identity and silhouette while reinterpreting TEAM WANG design’s modern aesthetic and design. The Chinese calligraphic character for “horse” (馬) is interwoven with the player’s name and number. A distressed, worn finish applied to the name and number evokes traces of use and the passage of time, amplifying a sense of authenticity and visual force that echoes the physicality, endurance, and competitive intensity embodied on the pitch.
Meanwhile, the pre-match white warm-up jersey offers simplicity with a red gradient flows naturally upward from deep burgundy to softer red tones, integrating the spirit of traditional Chinese ink. On the reverse side, the Chinese calligraphic character for “horse” (馬) is rhythmically repeated as a structural background motif. The PSG red crest, TEAM WANG design insignia, and Nike Swoosh logo are featured across both front and back, ensuring visual coherence and a seamless flow in motion.
These two limited-edition pieces will be worn by the players during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Metz on Matchday 23 of Ligue 1 McDonald’s, on 21st February 2026, at the Parc des Princes.
