Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan (成龙) is best known for his martial arts skills. Unfortunately, he’s also known for rumours of him being a womaniser. Well, new rumours in a similar vein popped up recently when the actor was spotted with another woman!
69-year-old Jackie Chan may be a well-respected celebrity, but he’s also a well-known figure who will make tongues wag when spotted with another pretty lady. Needless to say, it sent netizens scouring the net for her and they were left surprised when they discovered her identity.
On 7th January, a photo showing the lady and Jackie Chan went viral. It had apparently been uploaded by the lady herself and was captioned: “The Year of the Dragon is coming, good luck continues! This New Year (brings) a group photo with Jackie Chan and his personal blessings— everything will be prosperous!”
The photo showed Jackie in a white tracksuit posing beside the lady who was showing off Jackie’s autograph. He looked rather enthusiastic about the photo, which made some suspicious, especially since his left hand could not be clearly seen. Some also speculated that Jackie might be a little tipsy, claiming his face was reddened and further alleged it had something to do with a bottle of Moutai (Chinese liquor) seen in the cupboard behind him.
As it turns out, the lady happened to be the second runner-up in the 72nd Miss World China pageant. According to her profile on 小红书 (Xiao Hong Shu), she is also a fashion and food blogger. Despite worries that Jackie’s photo with her was inappropriate and seemed overly intimate, others argued that the lady might have simply wanted a photo with Jackie thanks to his status in the entertainment industry.
There’s no denying that most people would be falling over themselves to grab a photo with the renowned actor. He’s also known to be very humble and down-to-earth when interacting with fans, which might explain his languidness when taking photos with fans.
Still, we’re definitely happy for her as she seemed overjoyed to get a photo with Jackie Chan, and his autograph! Hopefully, she treasures it!
