Ever since 2022, it’s been rumoured that Malaysia will have its very own Apple Store at The Exchange TRX. After countless speculations and even leaks, we can finally confirm that the mysterious retail store located at the luxury shopping centre is in fact the long-awaited Apple Store!
According to the official Apple Malaysia website, it was announced earlier today (Wednesday, 29th May) that the highly-anticipated outlet will be opening on 22nd June (Saturday) at 10am. “We are getting ready to open our first Apple Store in Malaysia. We can’t wait to see you. Jom!” said the company in the announcement.
More details about the opening ceremony have yet to be shared but in the meantime, as seen in the photos above, Apple users can enjoy the official “JOM” wallpapers which they can download from the Apple Malaysia website. Here’s a fun fact: Apple has over 500 outlets around the world and according to NST, the Apple Store at The Exchange TRX will be the 6th physical Apple Store in the Southeast Asian region, with 3 outlets in Singapore and another 2 in Thailand.
Each store around the world has its own unique features in terms of both exterior and interior design, and since we already know what ours looks like from the outside, we can expect that the interior of the Malaysian Apple Store will be just as beautiful. Since it’s been confirmed, Apple users can also expect the advantages of having an official Apple Store in our country like personalisation on Apple products and the AppleCare service.
