It’s been over three years since Mandopop singer Wang Leehom (王力宏) separated from his ex-wife Lee Jinglei (李靚蕾). Since then, there has been no news about the singer’s romantic life – but could he be seeing someone new?
Recently, the singer hung out with fellow artist Wilber Pan (潘玮柏), whom he had performed with at a recent concert. Wilber took to Instagram to post about their meeting, along with singer Chen Linong (陳立農) and Malaysian-born singer Haezee (黄瑋昕). While the photo seemed normal enough, some netizens noted that Wang Leehom and Haezee were sitting quite close in the photo, prompting many netizens to speculate about their relationship.
As Wilber didn’t tag any of the celebs in the photo, netizens who weren’t familiar with Haezee questioned her identity and her connections to the three male stars, particularly Wang Leehom. One user even downright said that the female vocalist is the 48-year-old’s new girlfriend but provided no proof to his claims. However, others denied the rumours, saying that Haezee is a fellow singer in the same circle of friends.
According to her profile, Haezee is a Malaysian-born singer currently active in Taiwan. She released her debut album, “Love Maze”, in 2022 and recently released a new single in August 2024. She was part of the artist lineup of the same concert that Wang Leehom, Wilber and Chen Linong performed, so it’s likely that they all hung out backstage after the concert had ended. The 32-year-old shared the same group photo on her Instagram account with the caption, “Fun night”.
