Previously, actress Fazura and actor Fattah Amin’s marriage was the centre of attention after it was speculated that the two were headed for divorce. The now-ex-couple confirmed the news that they would go their separate ways and despite denying any infidelity, netizens are still theorising what went wrong in the marriage.
Influencer couple Jofliam and Cik Epal’s relationship may, unfortunately, are also in the same boat. There have been rumours and speculation that the former was being unfaithful to the latter after photos of him travelling with another woman surfaced. He then took to Instagram to clarify the stories.
Yesterday (Monday, 30th September), Jofliam posted a series of lengthy Instagram stories explaining the issues in his marriage. He claimed that a toxic staff member sought to sabotage his relationship by manipulating his wife, Cik Epal. The staff first allegedly fed him false information about an employee named Dewi, whom he believed he owed money. When his wife noticed the amount transferred, she questioned him about his actions but was not convinced by his answer.
The content creator later discovered that the same staff had convinced his wife that he was having an affair with Dewi. To complicate matters, Jofliam’s own sister also played a role in ruining his marriage. According to the businessman’s posts, his sister allegedly fabricated a story of an incident involving Dewi to his wife, despite promising that she wouldn’t share any work-related matters with her. This has led Cik Epal to further doubt her husband’s faithfulness. After feeling betrayed by his sister, the business owner tried to rectify the situation by having Dewi and his wife meet each other.
With Cik Epal’s permission, Jofliam went on another business trip with Dewi and her family to Italy and that’s when the rumours began to spread. Ultimately, all his efforts to save his marriage were in vain. It was reported earlier today that Cik Epal had unfollowed her husband on IG, further indicating that their marriage is currently on the rocks. “Throughout my marriage, I’ve never once cheated on my wife. I love our family and I spent most of my time working from home so I literally have no time to be unfaithful. There’s a lot I still want to share but I’m afraid it’ll do more harm than good,” he expressed.
In a now-expired IG story, Jofliam claimed “that he’s no longer someone’s husband”. He also reiterated his statements that there was no infidelity nor did he ignore his responsibilities as a father and husband. “If people want to put all these labels on me then so be it. The truth will come out one day,” he said. Cik Epal has yet to share her side of the story but reassured her followers that they are currently working things out privately. Guess we’ll see how this story will end.
