Earlier this week, local influencer Pei Shan (佩珊) accused her ex-boyfriend, fellow influencer Chang Le (蔡常樂), of cheating during their relationship. The accusations sparked backlash towards Chang Le, with the internet star slowly losing followers and job opportunities.
Recently, new outlets reported that the social media personality is no longer part of the lineup for an event scheduled for 31st December 2024. As shown in the before and after posters, the organiser had removed Chang Le’s image, indicating that he is no longer part of the upcoming event. However, it’s unknown whether the removal of Chang Le from the performers’ lineup was the organiser’s decision or the influencer’s own accord.

However, this case is reminiscent of singer Firdhaus Farmizi’s (菲道尔) dismissal from events following allegations that he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, singer Diorlying Tan (大穎). In Firdhaus’ case, he had a performance scheduled two days after his scandal broke out, but the event organiser cancelled his appearance. He was also slated to perform with Diorlying in a future event but is no longer part of the event.
In addition to losing gigs, Chang Le reportedly lost a significant number of followers since his cheating scandal first came to light. Since his last response to Pei Shan earlier this week, the influencer hasn’t been active on social media. Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend occasionally posted on her Instagram Stories, most recently, a photo of her trip to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Given the backlash both male stars faced after their cheating allegations, it will be hard for them to bounce back to their previous popularity status. Regardless, we wish the best for all parties and may they settle their private matters amicably.
