Calling all Fifty Shades of Grey fans! Is the sexy Ian Somerhalder officially our Christian Grey?
The star of the hit television show The Vampire Diaries didn’t confirm or deny his future as “Fifty Shades of Grey” character, Christian Grey, at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards on Saturday night, yet he did tell “E! News” that he predicts the audition process would be like and his take on the success of the books.

Ian shared, “I think that’s going to be a very interesting story to tell. It seems like whoever plays that role, it will be very interesting rehearsal time. They audition process is gonna be interesting”.
As for who Ian would cast as his Anastasia? The actor responded, “My Anastasia? I don’t know..there are too many (good Hollywood actors) to name”.
Although the actor refuses to reveal whether he’s in for the sexually adventurous gig, he did share that, “I get it. I get it. I get why it’s taken off the way it has”.
