Boys, will be boys!
Focus World has dropped a new trailer for upcoming movie “Cop Car”. Directed by Jon Watts, the film stars Kevin Bacon as a sheriff in a petty town who makes life miserable for two adolescents who make off with his patrol unit.
“Cop Car” tells the story of two mischievous 10-year-old boys who stumble upon a seemingly abandoned police cruiser when they were wandering around the woods. The boys start to have some harmless fun, driving around whilst being completely unaware that the sheriff has stashed a hostage in the trunk.
The fun stops when the sheriff realises that the cop car has vanished and aims to get his car back at all costs. The adolescents find themselves in the midst of a deadly game with only one way out — to drive as fast as their cop car can take them.
Co-written by Watts and Christopher D.Ford, the film is produced by Cody Ryder, Alicia Van Couvering, Sam Bisbee, Andrew Kortschak and Jon Watts. “Cop Car” will be executive produced by Walter Kortschak, Lance Acord, Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Frank Brenner, Bill Perry, Tom Valerio and Kevin Bacon. The co-producers of the film include Theodora Dunlap, Michaela McKee and Isabel Siskin.
Starring James Freedson-Jackson, Hays Wellford, Shea Whigham and Camryn Manheim, “Cop Car” is scheduled for release on 7th August and will be available On-Demand as well as on Digital HD a week after.
