Diplo runs the trap on Tiësto.
Superstar producer/DJ Tiësto‘s “Secrets”, a collaboration with KSHMR and Vassy, already hits real hard, but a touch of Diplo definitely takes it up another level! The Major Lazer head honcho recently released a remix of “Secrets”, turning the track into a heavy trap banger that is now available for streaming on SoundCloud.
According to Rolling Stone, Tiësto loves Diplo’s remix. He was quoted saying:
“I love what Diplo did with his remix.” “The original is high energy from start to finish so Diplo stripped it down and added a real island feel to the song which is great for the summer.”
The track originally appeared on Tiësto’s surprise album “Club Life: Volume Four New York City” which was released in May via his Musical Freedom Label. The album served as the latest instalment of his highly popular Clublife series, which highlights and focuses on a different city and dance music hub.
Diplo’s remix of “Secrets” however, does not appear on the “Club Life” album and there’s no word on when it will officially be released.
Undeniably one of the busiest man in the dance music community – Diplo has been everywhere recently; his collaborative projects — Jack Ü and Major Lazer releasing separate albums this year to critical acclaim, he’s also contributed to some of the most energetic productions including Madonna’s latest LP.
