Calvin Harris drops a new summer song.
After much anticipation and teasing through Instagram and Twitter, the Scottish DJ has finally released his latest song “How Deep Is Your Love”. The track which is a collaboration with electronic trio Disciples takes on a slightly different approach from his previous radio-friendly works.
Instead of working the pummelling build-ups and synthesiser onslaughts like his previous tracks, Harris’ dives straight into the deep end of the pool and opts for some slow-burning house with “How Deep Is Your Love”. While some may feel that this new approach won’t reach the same mainstream success such as previous hits like “We Found Love”, “Summer”, “Blame” and “Sweet Nothing” has, it’s really hard to imagine any of Harris’ song performing poorly on the charts.
