Selena Gomez’s music video for “Fetish” featuring Gucci Mane is here and it’s a little weird.
Directed by Toronto-based artist and photographer Petra Collins, the music video stars the brunette bombshell and a lot of scenes focuses on her mouth. It starts pretty normal, with Selena in a long yellow dress walking down the street on a bright sunny day. She enters a house and starts eating broken glass found on the kitchen table (ouch!).
In another scene, the “Bad Liar” songstress curls her tongue with an eyelash curler in the bathroom. And for some reason, she ends up in a large, snowy freezer with Gucci Mane. If that’s not bizarre enough for you, she is also seen eating lipstick and a bar of soap (why Selena, why?).
“Take it or leave it, baby, take it or leave/ But I know you won’t leave it ’cause I know that you need it/ Look in the mirror, well, look in the mirror/ Baby, I see you clearer, why you want to be near her,” she sings.
The video then ends with Selena laughing in the freezer.
What does the music video mean, exactly?
Well, one Selenator took to Twitter to explain that Selena has a fetish for the things she put in her mouth. “She tries to push it out by trying to cut her tongue. But it didn’t work, it comes right back. She tries to get rid of it but it won’t work. So she’s so angry and mad because of that. She can’t help it,” wrote the fan.
