Madeon gets personal.
As the anticipation keeps building for Madeon‘s official debut album release this month, the French wunderkind has released his track “Home,” the finale off the forthcoming album “Adventure“. The 20-year-old’s prior singles “You’re On” featuring Kyan and “Pay No Mind” featuring Passion Pit have given fans a glimpse of what to expect from “Adventure”.
However, Madeon shows a different side of himself with this latest track. “Home”, is a result of Madeon’s tradition where he locks himself in the studio for 24 hours and creates 2-3 songs from start to end. Madeon makes this track rather personal as he recorded his own vocals on it and kept them for the final version.
Much like his track “Pay No Mind”, Madeon touches an indie electronica sound with “Home” and the result is simply magnificent. Madeon took to Twitter to explain how “Home” came together:
In january of last year, I stopped touring completely to focus on writing music for Adventure.

I dont see myself as a singer but I thought it would be weird to have anyone else do the song so I kept it the same as the demo on the album

Anyway it’s the last song on the album, it’s called “Home” and it’s premiered tonight by @AnnieMac on her new @BBCR1 show.
